Empire

marble side table

Carved from a single monolithic block. The Empire is a side table that refuses to disappear — an architectural column of stone that commands presence far beyond its scale, anchoring a room with quiet, immovable authority.

The Monolithic Form

A Single Block, Uninterrupted

Most stone furniture is assembled — panels glued, frames bolted, surfaces applied. The Empire is not. It is cut from a single quarry block: top, body, and base in one continuous piece of marble. There are no seams, no joints, no apologies. The grain runs unbroken from floor to surface.

Weight as Luxury

In a world of hollow furniture, the Empire's mass is its statement. At 65 kilograms, it does not move unless you intend it to. It does not vibrate, shift, or flex. It simply is — solid, permanent, and entirely present. This is what stone has always offered, and what no other material can replicate.

Stone & Finish

The Empire is offered in four marble selections, each transforming the monolithic form differently. Emperador Brown's deep walnut tones bring warmth and depth. Nero Marquina renders the column as pure shadow. Bianco Carrara and Calacatta Gold open the form to light, making the same mass feel almost weightless. Each is finished honed or polished on request.

You have questions? Contact us

Yes. The Empire is cut from a single quarry block — top surface, body, and base are one continuous piece of stone with no joins, adhesives, or hidden armatures. The grain runs unbroken from the floor contact to the tabletop. This is what distinguishes it from assembled stone furniture, and why no two Empire tables are exactly alike.

Yes. The Empire is offered in both honed (matte, velvety, fingerprint-resistant) and polished (mirror-bright, reflective, deepens the stone's colour). Honed is the standard finish and suits most residential and hospitality contexts. Polished is recommended when the stone's veining is particularly dramatic and you wish to amplify it.

The Empire's base is fitted with recessed felt pads to protect all floor types, including hardwood, marble, and polished concrete. Given its weight, we recommend consulting your flooring specialist for use on raised floors or historic timber. We can also supply a custom stone or leather base disc on request.

Yes. Every Empire is delivered by our specialist handling team. Due to the weight and monolithic nature of the piece, professional placement is included as standard — not optional. Installation includes final positioning, levelling, and surface inspection. We operate worldwide through certified art and fine furniture logistics partners.
